My experiences with my employment and my previous undergraduate studies continue to teach me the value of helping the local community and being immersed within it. 

 
In my current role, I am able to achieve my desire of working in Boone as an Advanced Planning Specialist. Currently, I am eager to use my Planning and GIS abilities in my role with the Town of Boone. My education goals include future possibilities of seeking my Master's degree since I am an alumna of Appalachian State (December 2020).
